Family involvement in a child’s education is so important.
“Children perform better academically and socially when their families are involved with their education.”
“Children learn and develop best when they are part of a community of learners, a community in which all participants consider and contribute to one another’s wellbeing and learning”.
For this reason a group project has been set for children and families to contribute to. In doing so we are creating a community of learners. Families have the opportunity with their child to create a piece of artwork to decorate our kindergarten learning environment. It will be placed in a prominent place for families to work on. We hope you and your child get lots of enjoyment out of this experience.
