As an Early Years Manager of funded kindergarten programs, Shine Bright EYM can provide additional educators through School Readiness Funding (SRF). This position supports providing a safe and welcoming environment for children where each child’s health is promoted and protected. As an above-ratio position, you will be supported by an experienced educational team, meaning this position is suitable for those starting their career in Early Childhood.

Locations for SRF Educator Fixed Term Positions: 

  • Kunawaa Kindergarten – Wednesday and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm. Diploma or Certificate III educator (Contract end: 20/12/2024)

About the role: 

The SRF Educator provides quality education and care to children and supports learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework. In collaboration with the educational team, the SRF Educator participates the educational program including observations of each child’s developmental needs, interests, experiences and their participation in the program.

As the SRF Educator you will develop collaborative relationships with families that supports and values families’ expertise and beliefs and allows for families to contribute to decision making about their child’s learning and wellbeing. You will also develop collaborative relationships with colleagues to support the further development of skills and improve practice.

About you: 

The successful candidate will be a qualified Early Childhood Educator with a passion to educate children and work in a collaborative manner with their colleagues. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their passion, professionalism and ability to work with others.

  • Qualification in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Victorian Working with Children Check
