Our Philosophy
” The St. Margarets Way”
At St Margarets we provide a rich environment of indoor and outdoor play-based learning to promote independence, creativity, and overall wellbeing among our young learners. Children have autonomy to engage with materials that spark curiosity and encourage exploration.
Our intentional teaching strategies provide opportunities for peer interaction, extend on ideas, problem solving, and collaboration. Through this, we create a positive, secure, and supportive atmosphere, where children are encouraged to manage self-risk and make decisions.
At the heart of our philosophy lies the belief in the capability and competence of every child. We value each child’s ability, allowing them to flourish as learners. We celebrate and honor diversity of our community and embrace cultural backgrounds that foster a deep sense of belonging among our learners.
At St Margarets we actively engage with families and the wider community, these invaluable insights shape our educational programs. We welcome families and children to share their voice as these contributions enable us to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.
