Our Maiden Gully Early Years project is progressing well and I thought it was timely to provide you with an update.
It was great to catch up with many of you at the recent Staff Project Briefings, where we were able to share our building plans, landscape designs and answer any queries about the project.
The Detailed Design phase has now been completed and the project went out to ‘tender’ last week.
We are hoping to appoint a Building Contractor before the end of the year, for a start early in 2020. We are still on track for the project to be completed by October of 2020, in time for an opening at the start of 2021.
At our most recent Board meeting there was some discussion about the official name of the Centre.
As for all of our managed facilities it will start with Shine Bright ……, but we are unsure what the rest of the name should be?
It was decided to ask our creative Shine Bright staff for any suggestions regarding the name of the Centre. While this isn’t a competition, I am sure if you choose to put forward a suggestion and it is selected, then we will come up with some type gift in acknowledgement!
