Vaccines available without an appointment
There are 14 sites across the state that have no bookings required and have a good supply of Moderna. Sites are:
- Sandown Racecourse, Springvale
- Palm Plaza (Dandenong Market), Dandenong
- Bayside Centre, Frankston
- Former Bunnings on Barries Rd, Melton West
- Former Ford Factory, Campbellfield
- Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton

New Headspace Walk-In Vaccination sites
A number of community vaccine pop ups are operating this week. The Department of Health has partnered with Headspace and will be onsite at the following locations offering walk in vaccinations:
- Headspace Sunshine Visy Cares Hub, 80B Harvester Rd, Sunshine VIC 3020 Brimbank Tuesday 26/10 1pm-5pm
- Headspace Glenroy 2A, Hartington Street, Glenroy, Victoria 3046 Moreland Wednesday 27/10 1pm-5pm
- Headspace Frankston 62 Playne Street, Frankston, Victoria 3199 Frankston Wednesday 27/10 2 pm – 6 pm
- Headspace Greensborough Level 1, 78 Main Street, Greensborough, Victoria 3088 Banyule Thursday 28/10 2pm-6pm
The Bunjil Place pop up at located 2 Patrick Northeast Drive, Narre Warren is open 7 days a week, 9am – 5pm, until Sunday 7 November and is offering walk in appointments- no bookings required.
My Body. My Health – Education Toolkit
In 2020, Jean Hailes launched My Body. My Health. a health education toolkit (a series of five educational PowerPoint presentations and a facilitator guide) to help organisations deliver important health information to women from migrant and refugee backgrounds. The presentations are written in plain English and are specifically designed for women who don’t know the Australian healthcare system and may struggle to make informed decisions about their health.
The toolkit is available free of charge for use by health professionals, educators, bilingual/bicultural workers, community leaders or anyone with experience in delivering health education to culturally and linguistically diverse communities. It can be downloaded here from the Jean Hailes website.
We are pleased to announce that each presentation is now available for download in plain English as well as in Arabic, Burmese, Simplified Chinese, Dari, Hindi, Nuer, and Karen. With Tibetan, Thai, and Swahili available in the near future.
A limited number of the presentations in a flipchart format (in English) are also available for organisations or individuals working with migrant and refugee women. To receive a copy, please complete this order form.

Centre for Culture, Ethnicity & Health has uploaded the most recent Health Translation multilingual resources on: Covid-19 Vaccines, Women’s health, Family Violence, Parenting, Disability, Centrelink/ Services Australia, ATO and employment, Mental health, Hepatitis, Sexual Health and many more
