If you’re not already aware, Shine Bright educators have access to a free interpreter & translation service through the LanguageLoop portal called LoopedIn. Shine Bright can access this service as part of the Department of Education’s (DET) aim to improve language and communication with families. Support is also available for written documents.

If you are using this service to translate documents or arrange an interpreter, you will be asked to provide a 5-digit PIN for each booking.

Translation services for written documents will be available for all department-funded kindergarten services through LanguageLoop. Translation categories include:

  • newsletter article – 500 word maximum
  • notice – 750 word maximum
  • information on program – 750 word maximum
  • assessments of learning and development – 750 word maximum
  • individual child goals/learning and development goals – 500 word maximum.
