Description

From discussions with multiple professionals in different contexts, it is evident there is more than can be done to increase effectiveness of transition partnerships between schools and kindergartens. These sessions will build on and enhance the professional partnership between school and kindergarten to strengthen positive transition for children. This model demonstrates a commitment to continual improvement and provides a framework for sustained exceptional practice through extending leadership beyond the service.

There is flexibility for this model to include EL/NS from the kindergarten or the whole team, depending on the service size and number of foundation teachers attending. Using a Reflection Wheel model, participants will be supported to create their own agenda and topics for discussion.
