The Marong Kindergarten Parent Advisory Group (PAG) recently applied to the City of Greater Bendigo for a grant. This grant will go towards the purchase a retractable shade sail for the swing area.

Highlighted as an area of priority, the swings are in high demand by the children throughout the year. The lack of shade in the warmer months the area quickly becomes extremely hot, affecting the children’s enjoyment of the area.

Marong Kindergarten’s PAG should be congratulated on their efforts for applying for this grant. The PAG is also contributing two thirds of the cost of this shade sail, made possible through their fundraising efforts!
