PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy begins with the child and valuing children’s voice and actions as a catalyst to forming a program which is individual and based on discovery and excitement. We see children as curious and capable every day.

We value equality and diversity within our community with acceptance of difference and respect for all. It is important for children and Educators to feel seen and heard creating an environment where there is a sense of belonging for all.

As a new service we are establishing our community through valuing family contribution, respecting country and respecting culture.

We see communication as the foundation fo play with emphasis on building strong and healthy relationships with each other. We listen, we ask, we are respectful and kind every day.

We care for our world acknowledging first nations through respecting the environment, referencing the Aboriginal seasonal calendar, recycling and using oral storytelling in our space.

Our approach values slow pedagogy providing time to listen observe and notice the small details. Children can feel unhurried in their choices and in their play.

Finally; We are all open to learning and growing every day. We aim to strive for best practice, providing quality Education, being present and bringing our passion into our work.
