These are some of the things the children did to celebrate NAIDOC week with Aunty Patty at Kunawaa Kindergarten. The children made jewllery, made damper and cooked damper on the fire pit, created their own Wiran birds, made healthy fruit skewers, painted Aboriginal paintings on the poles outside, got their faces painted and learnt how to do head, shoulder, knees and toes in Wamba Wamba/ Wemba Wemba language and much more…..
We would like to thank Connor and Iree. Iree danced whilst Connor played the didgeridoo and we also would like to thank Aunty Trudy for coming and Welcoming us to Country and sharing her culture with us.
