Funded 3 Year Old Kindergarten will be available in the Bendigo and Swan Hill regions as of 2022 and as a result LMPA in consultation with Department of Education and Training (DET) and City of Greater Bendigo have reviewed and updated the Central Enrolment Policy and Procedures to incorporate the new guidelines set by the Victorian Kindergarten Policy, Procedures and Funding Criteria (VKP) update 2016.
Below is a copy of the updated LMPA – Central Enrolments policy and procedure for staff to have a read over and provide feedback.

In some country kindergartens children enroll when they are three years of age in the year prior to their pre-kindergarten year and are able to attend for both that year and the following year in a pre-kindergarten program, prior to attendance in the funded kindergarten program. Does the new funding prevent this from occurring from 2022 onwards?
