Primary school transition/orientation is an important process for families, children and the school community to develop an understanding the needs of children, of school expectations, school environment and to promote a smooth beginning to school for foundation/prep students.
C4C, Shine Bright EYM and Noah’s Ark have partnered with Department of Education (DET) to support enrolments and transition in these COVID times. Shine Bright has provided on their website information on the importance of transition, school zones and the updated Foundation/Prep Enrolment Information Booklet 2020 which has links to all state, catholic and independent primary schools’ websites for up to date information from individual schools. This is a great resource for any families who have not yet chosen their school for 2021 and we encourage any professionals working with families with kindergarten and school aged children to ask if they have enrolled for next year.
