The Federal Government have announced that all Victorian early childhood education and care providers are able to waive gap fees for the period 21 August 2021 to 2 September 2021, for those families who receive Child Care Subsidy but who are not eligible to send their children to childcare under current COVID restrictions.
Shine Bright have decided that we will waive 100% of gap fees for those families who are not currently eligible to send their children to childcare. This means that, if your child does not meet the eligibility guidelines to attend childcare, you will not be required to pay any fees, at least up until 2 September 2021. We hope that this decision provides support for families who are already experiencing financial difficulties due to COVID-19 restrictions.
