Hello colleagues,
I’m writing to seek your support for and involvement in our ‘Libraries for the Future’ community consultation. Please help us reach our broader community so that we can continue to build library services which meet the needs and interests of our communities as we plan for the future. We are particularly keen to reach a broad range of community members who don’t already use our libraries, and to learn a little more about how we can better meet their needs.
We would be very grateful if you would circulate the following to your networks, and to also take the time yourself to complete our survey. Please also print the attached poster for your notice board if relevant, and copies of the paper based survey if appropriate (I can drop some in, if needed – please let me know). We have offered some suggested wording for circulation to your networks, below.
We will be setting up ‘shop’ at the new Shine Bright hub at Maiden Gully on the morning of Thursday 11th March to speak with families, including a story time at 10am. Please let me know if there might be an opportunity for me to come to a meeting with some of your families to have a quick discussion with them. I may not have capacity to attend all if I am flooded with responses but I am particularly keen to speak with vulnerable families about what we can do to reduce any barriers to their feeling safe and interested in attending their local library.

An image for your newsletter (where relevant) which can accompany a selection of the below text, where relevant.
