When we hear that there are weather warnings and our home or community is threatened by a flood or fire, it can be frightening. Sometimes we don’t realise how stressful it can be and how much it can affect us. Most people are not able to think as clearly as usual when they are under severe stress, and this can affect their decision making and reactions. This is perfectly normal.

Bendigo Community Health Service have put together fliers on how to manage distress in a time of crisis.
